Specifications
DataCanon Version 1 is documented in seven complementary specifications. Core defines the data model, equality, canonical encoding, and fingerprinting. The other specifications define representations, optional preprocessing, and persistence behavior. The Conventional Types companion defines optional computational and collection behavior; support is not required for Core conformance.
The specifications are drafts for independent implementation review. Outstanding conformance and interoperability items are recorded in the individual specifications.
This section is generated from the specifications in the DataCanon code repository. Changes should be made there and synchronized here.
